Bento # 20 : Froggie Bento

Ah well.. I guess almost everybody has made this froggie bento. I would just have to add more veggies to Cinderella's diet since she refuses to eat fruit nowadays. So, I guess froggie bento would be just right to make her eat spinach without knowing it.
She loved it. Took a peek, and said, "Mommy.. froggie froggie... " She ate most of her lunch. I wonder with that many things in her tummy, where does it go? She is so skinny for her age, although her height is average =(
In this bento : grilled beef teriyaki, fried tempeh, asparagus, carrot and green beans wrapped with zucchini, broccoli

I used to hide the spinach and blend it with rice so my girl wouldn't know it. Smart idea with cute frog, your Cinderella will not able to refuse it :)

Hee hee... the things moms do for the kids to eat veggie... I hide the veggie everywhere, in the rice, in the katsu, in the meatballs... practically almost everything...
I will try to use beet juice to color the rice in pink and see how it goes... Wonder if it tastes bitter....

I love your froggy bento!

It's hard not to worry about our children's sizes! I have one who is perfectly average, one who is a wee tiny bit on the plump side and two that are very skinny. I worry about all of them, all for entirely different reasons.

Hugs, mama! I'm sure Cinderella will be fine. :)
